These definitely run a bit small, especially if you have any curves. I typically wear a size 6-8 in pants and dress size 6, but I ended up ordering a size 12 in these.If they sat higher on the waist I probably wouldn't have had to order up like I did (I'm wearing leggings underneath, too). I probably could have gotten away with a 10, but didn't want to chance it because I need them for hunting tomorrow and they arrived today! :)These are not lined so layering them with leggings works great; if I had gotten a 10 it would probably be a little more snug. There is not much "give" in these pants.The sizing is the reason for the 4 stars, but I can't comment on quality at this time. I'll know more once we go hunting in the morning... :)
