These are great shoes! I get a lot of compliments on them. They make my foot look thin, and they are perfect for my plantar fasciitis. I need stiff shoes that won't allow my plantar fascia to tear when I walk - and these are pretty stiff! They also have great arch support - while I've had to buy inserts for most of my other shoes. The only downside is that the fit is super snug on the top of my feet. I take extra time to make sure the tongues of my shoes are laying flat - not curling in on the sides so that they won't dig into my feet. But it's not really that big of a deal. I'm very happy with the price of these shoes because most good shoes are expensive. And while the tops of my feet are a little tight, the overall comfort is excellent for my arches.Without a doubt, this is the best fitting and femine-looking 'sneaker' that I have ever purchased, even over the higher priced name brands (I am a runner). I have broad and flat feet. Also, I had a torn foot tendon cause by military training. So, now I must be careful to wear a sturdy stabilizing atheletic shoe when I exercise, walk or jog. Not only does the Aetrex look nice (which is NOT important to most purchasers), but it is has a firm stabilizing arch in the sole. I purchased two pair, black and the brown-white. Ladies, this is worth the cost because it is efficient and effective. (Looks pretty, too)This Aetrex shoe was marked as a 8 wide, but it was a lot too narrow. I have two Aetrex pairs of shoes and they fit fine. I was very disappointed! These shoes are very narrow, even though they are my size 7.5M. They have avery small and narrow toebox. My orthotics don't fit in them. I cannot wearthem. They are being returned. I have a pair of Aetrex shoes that I love.tight in the toe boxThis shoe is for a narrow foot, thick-heeled wearer. Defect in shoe's heel design results in heel-blisters. I had to return them immedately.
