I got these boots for a trip to Alaska. I wore them the entire week including lots of hiking, so much hiking. Normally my feet blister easily and I had no issues. They offered me great traction on icy hills and kept my feet dry on slushy days. They kept my feet warm while standing outside for hours in freezing weather to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis.I even had someone stop me at the airport to find out where I got them because they were so cute. I have size 11 feet and usually nothing is cute when blown up to that size so that tells you just how cute they are!Boots are comfortable with no breaking-in needed. Love the look and the zipper on the side making it easy to put on.I thought I was buying a cheap pair of “cute” boots that wouldn’t last a winter. I was apparently wrong.I moved to the UP of Michigan without any winter gear last summer and tried cheaping out on as much as I could and buy nicer stuff over the course of the next few years. This was one of those things I got. To give you an idea of winter here: it started snowing mid October and hasn’t stopped since. We get 50-100 inches of snow... a month here. So I wear these snowboots every single day, regardless of where I’m going. I dress up for church, business casual for work, dress down for shopping, and everything in between. I have gotten countless compliments on these boots in all situations. So they’re cute, score! Very comfortable too. I hate shoes, constantly call shoes evil, but I don’t quite mind having these on my feet. They aren’t awfully restricting like some boots can be.They are also water proof. I can step into a few inches of water and my socks stay dry. I can march through a foot of snow and my feet stay dry. These boots have plenty of traction. They aren’t good for running across ice, but I can certainly walk across it carefully without slowing down too much. The one thing these are not is warm. Which is fine, wool socks and toe warmers go a long way if you’re standing in 0° for long.In all, I love these boots. They don’t look terrible worn after four months of constant ware. I expect to get two seasons out of these at least. If they end up not making it to May, I’ll update this review, but I’m not seeing them suddenly fall apart any time soon. All in all, these are super worth the money.11/19 edit: I finally had to replace the boots. I ended up wearing through the toe of the right boot and, coincidentally, the zipper on that side broke as well. These lasted me 2 winters with a total of about 13 months of constant wear. I think they could have lasted longer if I didn’t have a horrible habit of kicking the stone stairs to knock all the snow off before entering a building. :) so, all in all a great purchase. I replaced them with another pair from the same brand. These are very warm! Very cute, but slightly small. I can wear them comfortably just with thinner socks. These are a little wide for me, but stillVery warm and comfyI bought these during one of Amazon's "Lightning Deals" and given that price ($33.23) I'm happy enough with them. I definitely wouldn't pay more than that, and I think $25-$30 would be a more reasonable for these. I normally wear a 10.5 but if that's not an option (and it rarely is) then a 10W will do. These do come in a 10.5, and some reviews said they ran large, but in an abundance of caution I decided to go with an 11 thinking if they were a smidge big I could make up the difference with thicker socks. I'm glad I did, because a 10.5 would have been too small even with NO socks. The 11's are still more snug than what I'd expected (more so in the ankle area which is quite tight), but I only need something to wear to keep my feet dry when I shovel the walk/drive, so for that they'll work (I'm talking central Illinois winters, not northern Minnesota winters), although I'll need to buy new laces because they ones they come with aren't even long enough to tie (weird). In general, I'd suggest getting at least a full size or size and a half bigger than what you normally wear. I think they'll keep the wet out, but I don't think they'll be very warm, so if you're looking for something to wear for more than occasionally shoveling not-so-deep snow I'd probably keep shopping.Ordered my normal size and they fit. Warm and fuzzy. While shopping for boots, I was amazed how many reviews on other brand snowboots customers said they weren't good for snow. ?? These boots are waterproof and work well in snow. Great price as well. I really want the orange and black tiger striped pair, but not available in my size. I am pleased with my purchase.Well I just received these today so I know it’s a little early to write a really thorough review but I really put these through the wringer today.I live in the PNW and it’s rainy and wet all the time so I just wanted something to keep my feet dry to and from my car and kind of just putting around town. Nothing substantial really needed here.Tonight, I walked 5 miles in the rain through some pretty rough terrain. It was wet, cold, muddy and crappy on the roads. I was walking in protest after a heated argument with my spouse in my car. Walking through 5 miles of wet, dirt roads seemed like a great idea compared to the mess in my vehicle. So not only was I walking, I was angrily and aggressively walking. My verdict on these shoes after my long journey: these are great $30 boots. My feet stayed warm and dry. I have a wide foot so my foot felt a little squished with regular socks on but again, I walked 5 miles in them the first day I’ve had them. They performed exactly how I expected them to. I also looked cute during this whole ordeal which is the most important thing.I’m happy with this purchase so far. Who knows how they will do for the rest of the season but tonight they got me home safely and dry. These boots would have been perfect if only the sizing was correct! I am a size 6 uk and these boots were advertised as UK size 7. I thought they would be perfect with thick socks. However I couldn’t even get my foot in them. They are more like a size 4 UK. I now have to send them back to the US.Excelentes botas, protegen del frío y son muy bonitasBuenísimas!!
