Amazon kept showing me a 10.5 at an awesome price. I typically wear a 9. I was reluctant because a 10.5 sounds huge and i like to walk around in a shoe before purchase. Ultimately the price was too good not to try given the ease of returns or selling them on another platform. I considered the comments on the fit and the fact that I had eyed these wedge boots over the past year and said hey why not. Upon arrival I compared them to another pair of boots and the soles matched up pretty evenly. Foot in, boom, Perfect fit (my foot is wide). I’m pleased with my purchase. They are comfortable enough to wear all day even with lots of walking. Doesn’t offer much by way of arch support but totally delivers on comfort. I am eager to give them a try in rain. Comfy and stylish! If your considering the joan of artic chelsea wedge ii know that sizing isn't true to fit. If you size up a bit (like 1.5 sizes in my case) it may just work out.I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SORELS. Sooo comfortable! This is my first pair ever and I can’t wait to get many more! I ordered a size 6.5 (normally I wear 6.5-7 depending on shoe type, brand, ect) Because they were a lot cheaper so I though why not try. When they arrived they arrived in a sorel box brand new clean and so cute! The black is like a flat black color super soft. I AM A HAIR STYLIST SO I STAND ALL DAY. I can wear them all day and have no feet aches or problems at all. The 6.5 do fit my feet with thinner socks, and tights just fine, however thick socks are to tight. So I think I will order a size 7 in the next shoe I get. they fit me in length just fine but when I put a thicker sock On they are just too tight Around the toe, they are more of a narrow shoe. I do have a skinnier foot so that wasn’t really an issue it’s just overall comfort I believe a size 7 would’ve been perfect with some wiggle room but they are leather so they will stretch out over time so I think a 6 1/2 will be just fine. I definitely recommend getting a pair they are very very comfortable seriously in love I can’t wait to get some more now!! The picture is after me wearing them for 2 weeks.Size and fit:I purchased my normal size 7.5. They are real suede/leather and do stretch a little with wear. I own the camel color and can say first hand that the toe box and above my arch was tighter than normal but with thin socks and a few wears, it has become more comfortable. Even with the stretch, I cannot wear thick socks, only thin ones.My feet have not gotten cold but I have not used them to play in the snow only walk through it during work or errands.COLOR BLACK:I ordered the color black from Amazon fulfilled by Zappos, and the color was black not the crazy green color in a previous review given- thankfully.BACK PROBLEMS:I have back problems and these are comfortable and do not bother it nor my sciatic pain. I love being a couple inches taller and the wedge is comfortable and stable- no wobbling side to side. The bottom is rubber and so there is no slipping around when on a slick surface or tile like surface.I’m glad I waited a year to buy this, from Lea to Joan #LEAMEETSJOAN. Sorel improved the construction eliminating the 2nd cut/stitching by the toe vamp which was a problem most buyers reported that turned me off from buying it. I’m impressed that Sorel is consistent in delivering quality shoes, might have listened to feedbacks. True to size, I own 3 other Sorel booties (Addington Chelsea, Conquest Wedge and Addington Cut Out) all in size 8. I’m a medium width size 8 in all other shoes I buy with half an inch toe room. That includes heels, flats, comfort, athletic, fall and winter shoes. This pair has a very comfortable well padded footbed and my ankles feel fully supported. It’s easy to slip in and out of. This might be my new go to booties this season. Way to go Sorel!Update: March 2019LOVE these booties so much that I bought another pair. I waited for a specific color that I want to add to my collection and Sorel didn’t disappoint. I love the muted brown hue of this latest purchase. These booties are still the most comfortable support for long standing and walking. I don’t like wearing sneakers, and these are my casual shoes that are trendy as well. Worth every penny!Buying recommendations: I believe buyers really need to check their size and specific color in an actual store so they won’t get dissatisfied with online purchases. Color gets distorted in photos depending on lighting/flash, very rare you get to see the actual color. And shoe sizing really depends on the individual’s feet structure, expect each foot to have slight length/width, heel/forefoot width differences, as well as the ankle bony structure position/height (lateral/medial malleoli). Thus, the shoe will fit differently even if it says your size.All I can say is she loved them, and wears them frequently.These booties are lovely and I'd love one in many colors. They give height without the feeling of wearing heels....great arch support and even warm in MN Winter! My only complaint is getting them on...I have extremely narrow feet, but the nature of the inside of the shoe pushes the sock up while you put it on so the sock is tight on your toes, while in reality there is plenty of room. The thinner the sock, the better. I've tried lots of sock varieties and it still pulls your sock tight. After a few hours it tends to loosen around your toes again. The other thing is that the inner sole pops out when you take it off, which isn't a big deal as you just push it back down...not entirely sure that its a flaw though, as it might be handy for those who prefer inserts.I ordered a size 7 which is my size I couldn’t even get my foot in the boot. I was very disappointed. I’ve never had a problem with any boot in my actual size but it was like it was two sizes too small.I love this boots there are supper comfy and elegant. I had order 1/2 size more since there are narrow and they fit me wellI also love the new shipping company BNICA the amazon is now using!! Normally I am a size 6 but I read many reviews saying they fit small. My feet are fairly thin and honestly size 6 would have been fine! But they still fit nice. I was also worried about ordering this color because I wasnt sure what "imp" meant. But they're awesome ! They are kind of a dark grey! Gorgeous and very comfortable. Very happy I purchased these! Its def a tight squeeze to get them on, if you have wide feet I'd imagine they wouldnt work as well for you!So sad they are poorly made because they are cute, fit well and I did love them. Still the boot loop at the back just broke right off when I pulled them on.So comfortable and fit perfectly. Love them!!
